This featured plate is far away from Friartown.
After he retired, Robert Nunes ’86SCE moved to Myrtle Beach, S.C., in 2004 and registered the “PC ALUM” plate. However, in South Carolina people assume “PC” refers to Presbyterian College’s Blue Hose, not the Friars.
“I have had to tell countless people that PC stands for Providence College, even though I have a plate frame that says ‘Alumni – Providence College,’” Nunes said.
