PC hosts resident assistants’ conference
The Office of Residence Life hosted the first Resident Assistant Leadership Conference in the fall, welcoming 150 resident assistants and professional staff from six colleges and universities in Rhode Island.
Attending, in addition to PC, were Rhode Island College, Johnson & Wales University, the University of Rhode Island, the Rhode Island School of Design, and Bryant University.
Jana L. Valentine, associate dean of residence life, said the conference allowed PC’s resident assistants to meet and network with other RAs and staff members while attending educational sessions to improve their leadership skills.
