Page ’91G named R.I. Teacher of the Year
Patricia Page ’91G, a business and computer education teacher at East Greenwich High School, was named the 2014 Rhode Island Teacher of the Year. She will serve as the state’s candidate in the national Teacher of the Year competition.
Page, a former corporate human resources director and training manager who earned an MBA at PC, initially joined East Greenwich schools in 2006 as a coordinator developing performance-based graduation standards for the high school. To complete that task, she partnered with faculty in PC’s Department of Secondary Education. She later taught third grade at Meadowbrook Elementary School for two years before re-joining the faculty at East Greenwich in 2010.
She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Bryant University and a master of arts in education degree from Roger Williams University.
