Centennial committee seeks College memorabilia

Friar Boy IIIThe Centennial Planning Committee asks colleagues and alumni for help in collecting College memorabilia that could be used in centennial displays in 2016 and 2017. The committee seeks loans or donations of documents and memorabilia such as photographs, letters, sports items, and apparel — items that help tell the unique story of PC.

In order to plan for their use, the committee requests that items be submitted by Jan. 30, 2016. Memorabilia may be delivered or mailed to Ann Manchester-Molak ’75 in care of the Executive Offices, Harkins Hall 218.

Items will be carefully cataloged and stored for future use during the centennial year. Donated items will be maintained in the Library Archives.

  1. Please let me know if you’d like me to loan my rugby jersey from PC’s very first team (in 1978). The jersey includes a customized, shamrock patch that we had made up, which depicts a friar pitching a rugby ball.

    Thanks

    1. Jeffrey — yes, please send it along to the address listed above. Don’t forget to include your contact information so we can return it.

Thanks! Liz Kay, PC marketing and communications.
