National Treasure: Highlights of Ray Treacy’s career at PC
• 30th year, head coach and director of men’s & women’s track & cross country operations
• coached the 2013 and 1995 NCAA Division I Women’s Cross Country Championship teams; named NCAA Division I Women’s Cross Country National Coach of the Year both times
• coached the women’s cross country team to six top-three NCAA finishes and the men’s team to third-place NCAA finishes twice
• coached 59 All-Americans who have received 162 All-America accolades; 13 NCAA individual champions; 44 athletes who have won 110 BIG EAST Conference individual championships; and 11 Olympians
• coached PC to 13 NCAA Northeast Regional, 21 BIG EAST Conference, and 20 New England cross country championships
• coached the 1991 4-X-1,500-meter relay team that set the world record at the Penn Relays
• as a PC cross country and track student-athlete, was a three-time All-American, a two-time New England cross country champion, and a three-time BIG EAST champion in the indoor 5,000 meters
