Briana Barns ’20 and Megan McCune ’19 — 3D modeling of turkey elbow joints

With the help of an Undergraduate Research Grant from PC, Briana Barns ’20 (Coronado, Calif.) and Megan McCune ’19 (Orange, Calif.) have studied the range of motion of the elbow joint in turkeys to better understand the mechanics of avian flight. Learn more about their project at the Annual Celebration of Student Scholarship and Creativity on Wednesday, April 24.

After Commencement, McCune will begin working as a clinical research coordinator at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer as she prepares for graduate school.
