Providence College wins two CASE excellence awards
The Council for the Advancement and Support of Education recognized the Marketing and Communications Division of Providence College with two creative achievement awards in its national 2024 Circle of Excellence competition. CASE presents the honors annually to institutions doing innovative work in areas such as communications, alumni relations, and advancement services.
CASE gave a bronze award for the college’s 60-second version of the Purpose television spot that airs during Friars Athletics national broadcasts, noting that it “shows the college’s brand identity and messaging strategy with pride and excellence.”
It provided the same level of recognition, in the marketing initiatives category, for PC’s web-based self-guided campus tour. Campus visitors can follow the award-winning tour using a map on their mobile devices and listen to a student narration that describes each of the 13 highlighted stops.
PC’s Marketing and Communications Division has now earned 13 CASE awards in the past six years, including a prestigious Gold Award in 2023 for creative achievement in the institutional branding category. CASE has described the college’s brand messaging as “modern and authentic without deviating from institutional values.”
