Civ’s gone to London! Dr. Stephanie Boeninger, associate professor of English, and Dr. Margaret Manchester, associate professor of history, are faculty-in-residence for Providence College’s new Civ in London study abroad program. Civ in London brings lessons from the Development of Western Civilization to life, exposing students to the rich history and cultural heritage of the United Kingdom as well as perspectives of those marginalized in Britain’s industrial and imperial history. Learn what students can expect in the program’s inaugural semester and the professors’ favorite spots around London.
