Dr. Robin Greene — Making the Ancient Accessible
Dr. Robin Greene, associate professor of history and classics and this year’s recipient of the Joseph R. Accinno Award, the college’s highest teaching honor, joins us on the Providence College Podcast to expand on some of the anecdotes she told during her keynote address at Academic Convocation. Greene describes how she went from working the late-night “drunk shift” at Denny’s to scholar of Greek and Latin, and how she inspires her students to critique the great thinkers of human history and to consider how ancient texts influence their lives today.
