Seven marathons on seven continents in seven days for Keri Mandell ’04
Keri Roedel Mandell ’04 raised more than $55,000 for the American Cancer Society by completing one of the world’s most grueling endurance events, The World Marathon Challenge — seven marathons in seven days on seven continents.

From Feb. 6-12, 2020, Mandell ran marathons in Antarctica, South Africa, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Brazil, and Miami, with an average time of 5:44:43, to honor her father, Arthur Roedel, who died of multiple myeloma.
She worked for more than a decade as a school administrator and special education teacher before opening Empower Yoga in Princeton, N.J.
